A revolution in hygiene for children in Ghana.
Stichting The Good Roll Foundation is an independent NGO active in the Netherlands and Ghana.
We realise safe, hygienic and circular toilets (WaSH units) at schools, as well as drinking water and essential hygiene products.
We run a pilot in which we turn waste into valuable biochar, and reinvest all proceeds in maintaining and expanding our sanitation facilities.
We also support schools with education about hygiene and MHM (menstrual hygiene management), and provide girls with reusable sanitary pads.
We do it differently
Lasting impact, not temporary patches: we build more sustainable WaSH solutions, not quick emergency fixes.
We work closely with local Ghanaian communities, and the WaSH units are run by women from the area.
We work together with other NGOs to join forces, get more done and share knowledge.
